The fun stuff & testing the new range

I am not ready to do a whole kitchen reveal yet as I mentioned yesterday that it is not quite finished.  However, I thought I would share some pictures of some of the fun details we were able to include in the design.  I really wanted to include a small appliance center built in to the counter (mainly for the coffee maker) as well a lazy susan, but they just didn't work out. Would have loved a broom closet as well but we chose food/kitchen knick-knack storage over the broom storage. Oh well, we love it all anyways.

Upper pull out pantry & hidden small appliances-microwave & toaster oven-they are on slide out trays and concealed by a door when not in use

pull out recycle

tip out sponge tray

looks like an ironing board cabinet but it is....

a spice caddy!   I love that I can see them all and find them easily-they are alphabetized!

tray holder above fridge

pull out mixer holder

and new range-just installed last night!  An NXR-we purchased through Costco over the summer.  It is super basic but high powered-not too much to break!

I even cooked today!  Made Christmas Chex mix, hard boiled eggs and pickled green beans-gotta start simple, right?

  1. I love how the small appliances pull out of the cabinets! It makes the kitchen look so neat and clean.

    1. Me too! I didn't want small appliances cluttering the little counter space we have

  3. Awesome! I love your kitchen and the white cabinets are great (a must in my next kitchen). I also love your new stove and that cute, red tea kettle!
