The nursery is really coming along. Here are some pictures of our progress. Just need a mattress, changing pad and baby! Maybe some diapers too!
Our old dresser (a $25 garage sale find when we first moved to Portland) will turn into changing station with all of the little man's clothes below. I am embarrassed to say that the chair (which is super comfy with the dwell owl lumbar pillow added) is actually from Wal-mart.com (I hate wal-mart but could not justify spending $600 on a rocking chair from a boutique store). Little owl pillow was a gift from my sister. Vinyl wall owl decal from etsy.com
Vintage mirror was estate sale find for $2 by friend Chris, Dwell Studios for target crib bumper, dust ruffle made by muah, table by chair belonged to Steve's grandma and antique baby bowl was gift from my sis'
Another etsy wall decal and the prints are Audubon Society from Steve's grandma...super cool...this is another one of the doors we has stripped and then painted and stained and upgraded hardware with old but new to us door hardware-a lot of work but worthwhile.
We had the bookshelf and all the vintage toys (does anyone recall the barn-it makes a weird non-battery powered moo when you open the door) were estate sale finds. Toby enjoying the new home depot bargain find rug. New armoire knobs from Home Depot and diaper can from Ikea.
